“I own a small business, and as San Diego gets hotter, so does our space. Like many other buildings in San Diego, my space was not meant for extremely hot or cold temperatures. We have been making do with a small unit through the side of the building for air-conditioning and a couple of space heaters in the winter. Not only is this not cost-efficient, but on the really really hot days we were never cool enough. I did five estimates with five different companies. This company was by far the quickest to respond and came in the very day I contacted them. After receiving all five estimates, this company was cheaper and had a longer warranty for both parts and labor. Once I decided to go with them for my new mini split system they were at my shop within 24 hours everything was installed and we were on our way to a very comfortable workspace. So far, so happy!”

“Last month my air conditioner was making a rattling noise and it wasn’t getting as cool as before when we turned it on. So I turned to Yelp to help us out and figure out what was wrong. Ida was the first to respond back to me. We were able to get someone to look at it the next day. Mike came and told us to change the air filter. It really looked like it hadn’t been changed for years! We are new home owners so we had no idea. He didn’t have the right size of filters with him so he suggested getting at Lowe’s or Home Depot. There was no charge necessary even for him coming out there and diagnosing it. Highly recommend. Will be using them again if we bump into any AC/heating problems. “Thank you Comfort Air for coming to our rescue on a holiday weekend during a heat wave! Our AC unit blew on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend and these guys came out the following morning, on time, and changed out the unit that day. I called 8 24/7 AC replacement companies on Sunday and the soonest they could get an estimator out was Tuesday?! Some not until Friday. Comfort Air responded to my request on Yelp within 30 minutes and had the appointment scheduled within the hour. (I can’t recall the woman I was chatting with, but she was super responsive) Both Mike (estimator) and Eugene (1-man crew) were on time and pleasant. “What a difference. The first company came out, charged $100 service call, and quoted $1500 for a leak check and $1800 for repair/recharge which I declined. Mike from Comfort Air came and checked the system, said the refrigerant was low by a few pounds, and recharged it for $395. Mike said, “If there’s a leak it’s slow but will get worse over time”. Meanwhile, we’re cool during the heatwave and we’ll see how bad the leak is. So far a few pounds over 9 years ain’t so bad 😉”

“After extensive research and taking bids from a number of highly recommended companies, we decided to go with Comfort AC and Heating because they were the most thorough, the most responsive, and the bid was exactly what we expected and had budgeted for.
